Also, we have new pictures from the NolasLA show! LAKMG, a fully staffed and very driven artist development team based on Los Angeles, presented the first Soul and RnB Indie Express event at Nola‘s Los Angeles featuring my band, Danielle W. Carter and the Sounds of Soul. They really took great care to make sure my band and I were positioned for an excellent show. They even arranged for a post show interview with local publicist Jerica Williams.
My band was proud to kick off the evening with five original songs! Now is a fine time to introduce these talented musicians. Drum roll please….Chris Lee on the keys, Chuksingh on guitar, Melony Varnado on supporting vocals, Howard Brodwin on drums and Eric Frazier on bass. This was the very first time performing together as a full band. I feel honored and grateful everyday to collaborate with such talent. Big hugs and many thanks!

Music for charity is the sweetest sound. Hugh Brockingham, Melony Varnado and I donated our voices to support children who are seeking supportive families. We weren’t the only ones, Judith Hill and Wayne Brady gave in appreciation for the cause. It was truly a pleasure to sing with them at this event.
A big thank you to Stacey Lamont Sydnor for introducing me to Crystal Starr who spearheaded this wonderful benefit. Crystal has a huge heart and her event was reflective of the dedication to foster children.
Thank you again for sharing this cause and giving me a great purpose for the holidays!
